Dear Student Leader,
The National High School Student Council and Student Services are launching a year-long joint analysis process entitled:
Let’s Talk About Student Rights!
How relevant is the European Charter on Student Rights today?
As a launch event, a European Students’ Rights Summit is organized in Budapest from 15-17 November 2024. The meeting will bring together student leaders from secondary schools in Hungary and student organisations from European countries.
The European Students’ Rights Summit will launch a year-long process of analysis and consultation to get an accurate picture of the state of student rights in Europe and to formulate a common agenda for action to improve the situation.
We call on democratically elected student leaders at home and in Europe to give their views on how student rights are implemented in their countries. Let them say what could be done together, in a European student coalition, to address the perceived problems.
Date of the summit: 15-17 November 2024
Venue of the summit: European Youth Centre Budapest
